GEORGIOS PAPADOPOULOS is an Architect and Designer.
In 1996 he was a price winner of the Architectural competition for the rehabilitation of the RIALTO cinema in Limassol, Cyprus.
In 2006 his comprehensive exhibition, “Evoenos Nisos” on the history of wine making in Cyprus took part in the celebrations for Patra-Cultural Capital of Europe 2006
In 2007 he was awarded the state price for scenography for his work in the short film “Farmakon” by Ioakim Mylonas.
In 2008 he was nominated for the prestigious International Live Design Excellence Award http://livedesignonline.com/excellenceawards/junior-eurovision-song-contest/.
In 2010 his “Lemesos House” was short listed and presented at the “World Architecture Festival” in Barcelona.In 2011 his Lemesos Office was short listed and presented at the same event.
In 2011 His Lemesos House was Highly Commended at the European Property Awards.
He designed the Cyprus Museum of Education in Vasa, the Cyprus Medical Museum in Kato Polemidia and the Cyprus Forest Museum in Kambos.
Over the last few years his work was published extensively in magazines and books in Cyprus, Greece Portugal, Italy, Saudi Arabia and China.
On the internet his work appeared on the home page of some of the most respected websites on Architecture such as, “Wallpaper” “Architectural Record”, “Contemporist” “archello” and “e-Architect”
